The Official Champagne of Royal Ascot

Following a long-standing association with Ascot Racecourse and the Royal Meeting, Champagne Bollinger is proud to announce its designations as “The Official Champagne of Ascot” and “The Official Champagne of Royal Ascot’ as part of a new, long-term sponsorship agreement.

Since Ascot Racecourse was founded in 1711 this is the first time an “Official Champagne” has been appointed. Bollinger has however had a long term partnership with Ascot and been present at the Racecourse since the 19th century. The relationship has evolved over the years from single race sponsorship, to a permanent Bollinger bar in the Grandstand and tents in the Royal Enclosure Gardens during the Royal Meeting.

During Royal Ascot 2014, which runs from 17th-21st June, Champagne Bollinger will have two exclusive Bollinger branded bars with their own red-carpet gardens, in the heart of the Royal Enclosure Gardens, and one larger Bollinger bar on the Motivator Lawn in the Grandstand Enclosure, giving race-goers multiple opportunities to celebrate their successes in style with the range of Bollinger Champagnes.

In addition to the Bollinger bars, Champagne Bollinger will be stocked throughout Ascot Racecourse bars and restaurants, and offered with hospitality packages in the Royal Enclosure restaurants. Diners at selected restaurants will also have the chance to enjoy a special lunch menu paired with Bollinger Champagne.

The winning owner of each race during the Royal Meeting will be presented with a celebratory bottle of Bollinger Champagne with which to toast their success. Outside of the Royal Meeting Bollinger will also sponsor a race, which will see the horses showcasing Bollinger branded saddle cloths and a rug for the winning horse.

Over the past 300 years, Ascot has established itself as a national institution; with Royal Ascot becoming the centrepiece of the British social calendar and the ultimate stage for the best racehorses in the world.
